Max Hodak is the Founder and CEO of Science Corporation, a neural engineering company developing advanced brain-computer interface technology.

Since starting the company in April of 2021, Max has led its initiatives focused on restoring quality of life to those with debilitating conditions for which there are no treatment options, creating technology and devices aimed at restoring vision, cognition, and mobility. In addition, to support progress across the industry, Max has pioneered a program to provide state-of-the-art components and vertically integrated infrastructure for other companies and institutions to build and work with, through the Science Foundry.

Max’s academic training is in biomedical engineering and his primary research and professional focus has been on neural engineering and the brain. He graduated from Duke University's Pratt School of Engineering. After Duke, he helped start Transcriptic, a robotic cloud laboratory for the life sciences, where he was CEO. Max was also a cofounder of Neuralink, where he served as President, before starting Science Corp.
