
Guardian Circle is a mobile app and peer-to-peer intelligence grid that helps coordinate quick responses to various levels of emergencies for family and friends. Users can invite others to download the app and join their Guardian Circle and once included, the circle will be able to receive alerts and immediately connect with others in the circle and see their location to coordinate the quickest and safest response. Guardian Circle will donate free API access to a Personal Safety Network ‘Intelligence Grid’ to all Women’s Safety XPRIZE teams during the competition’s solutions development phase. Founded in Marina del Rey, California in 2016 by Mark Jeffrey and Chris Hayes, the company aims to help family and friends protect each other with an intuitive mobile app that helps mobile users act fast and maintain control of their personal safety.
