Andrew is a principal scientist at Sandia National Laboratories, where he co-directs the Quantum Algorithms and Applications Collaboratory (QuAAC).

He is also a research associate professor in the Center for Quantum Information and Control (CQuIC) at the University of New Mexico. He is broadly interested in computational physics, with a particular focus on simulating systems of interacting electrons on both classical and quantum computers.
