The Texas A&M Aggie Ocean Discovery team was a student lead initiative focused on developing advanced unmanned systems geared towards ocean exploration. Founded in 2017, the team became semi finalist in the shell Ocean is discovery Xprize through the development testing and verification of a large displacement Unmanned undersea vehicle as well as a high speed long range capable Unmanned Surface vessel.
