COVID-19 is a global phenomenon, and economically challenged communities are disproportionately impacted. Making a mask that is accessible to the wealthiest 5% of the world’s population does very little to suppress community spread of an airborne virus. My mask solves the highest ranked mask wearing impediments (heat, glass fogging, comfort, restriction, fit, and exercise) while never forgetting the importance of affordability. Cost and reductive design are an imperative at every step.
