The test costs less than $4, results are available within 30-seconds and have a 100,000 times greater detection limit than a PCR machine. The process is a single step, eliminating the need to prep the sample or wait hours for a result. The RUMI is currently being developed for a B2B2C market for COVID-19 and Influenza A/B and has early traction in lung cancer and tuberculosis.
