The u-Smell-it team's mission is to implement an ultra-rapid non-invasive olfactory (smell) test to in conjunction with an app permit level olfactory screening. This olfactory test has been validated in multiple clinical trials including at Yale, FIOCRUZ and with the Gates Foundation/GHL for use in COVID mitigation. The olfactory test can be used in broad olfactory screens including l in early detection of neurological disease such as Parkinson's and Alzheimer's diseases as studies have shown that loss of smell can proceed other symptoms and signs but up to a decade.
