The team is composed of designers, engineers, educators, and researchers from Learning Equality, a nonprofit dedicated to supporting tech-enabled quality teaching and learning opportunities for the nearly 40% of the world without Internet. For XPrize, it collaborated with the regional educational service agency Tuscarora Intermediate Unit 11 who notably used LE’s software and tools during the pandemic to support more than 1,000 Raspberry Pis distributed across Pennsylvania for at-home learning.
